Are they easy to assemble?
Yes, all roof parts are numbered and come with a plan on which parts go where all holes are pre drilled into aluminium so no drilling required.
All windows are also numbered in order to match the plan and glass carries the same number on it corresponding to the frames.
Do they come with a guide on how to assemble?
UCS have guides from our roof manufacturer Global available in branch. Just ask at time of placing order and our staff will happily provide you with one.
What roof glazing options are available?
Triple Polycarbonate Sheeting at 35 ml and 25 ml thickness is available this comes in a range of colours, Clear, Bronze, Opal and Bronze/Opal.
Glass roofs can also be done with an option being Pilkington Active clear and blue self-cleaning glass.
Can your conservatories be used all year round?
All our conservatories can be used all year round; many items are available to help keep the temperature just right whatever the weather. Items such as roof vents both portable and electric and a wide range of climate control units are available for you to purchase.
Can your conservatories be made to exact dimensions?
Our conservatoires can be made to what ever sizes you require. Some technical adjustments may have to be made or added to the products on larger scale conservatories our staff will advise you to these at time of order.
Are your products internally glazed?
Yes. All our products are internally beaded as standard with an easy to glaze bead. Details on this can be found by opening the Synergy presentation on this web site.
Do your products meet necessary regulations?
All our products meet all the necessary regulations that are required. Some orders may have other requirements with regards safety glass, fire escapes and energy efficiency regulations to name just some. Again our staff will be happy to advise.
Can I see your products before ordering?
Yes. By calling into our offices you will be able to see a wide number of our products which are available, are staff will also talk you through any questions you have. A wide range of brochures etc is also available for your information.
Are all products manufactured on site?
All PVCu windows doors & conservatories are manufactured on site in our state of the art factory. Items such as ancillaries are bought in but are still stored in our factory in Stockton on Tees so we can meet your needs quickly. All glass units are also manufactured on site and all toughened units and active glass units are ordered and in within days. Anyone wishing to see the factory again should ask the staff who would be happy to help.
Do You Deliver?
UCS already has a well-established delivery service delivering daily to the North East and on a number of cases outside the area as well. The delivery service has the capabilities to deliver country wide and any one wanting deliveries our staff can give full details.
