There are many possible designs for a conservatory. The following guide will help you think about what style would be right for your home prior to seeing a UCS Conservatories design consultant.
3 or 5 Facet Victorian - The 3 or 5 facet style is a classic Victorian conservatory. Its versatility and pleasing aesthetics make it suitable for almost all applications.
Gable front - A Gable-fronted conservatory offers a distinctive alternative. When combined with a steeper pitched glass roof, they offer stunning looks that are unsurpassed.
Georgian / Edwardian - Georgian / Edwardian conservatories offer a clean and simple look with strong bold lines. The hip fronted corners of the Georgian / Edwardian style conservatory give the optimum space for a given plan area and maximise the interior floor space.
Lean-to - The 'Lean-to' conservatory is also known as a sunroom, garden room or Mediterranean conservatory. They are particularly suitable for bungalows or houses with height restrictions.
Box Gutter - The utilisation of a box gutter allows the addition of a Victorian-style conservatory to an even wider range of dwellings. A box gutter allows the conservatory to abut the existing dwelling wall or to simultaneously drain the existing house and conservatory roof.
'T' shape Victorian - The T-shape Victorian allows maximisation of space and gives an attractive symmetrical appearance. A central projection highlights the shape and creates a 'porch' effect to the conservatory.
'P' Shape - Combining a mix of lean-to and Victorian styles, a 'P'-shape conservatory is the ideal choice for the larger conservatory. The lean-to section can feature a gable infill frame or can be hipped back. A 'P'-shape is ideal for creating maximum space whilst maintaining a sense of proportion in keeping with the existing dwelling.
Gull Wing - A Gull Wing model will provide you with the satisfaction of both spacious elegance and an exquisite appearance. It is adaptable to suit all property styles especially bungalows and low-eaved properties because of the lower pitched roof.
Summer House - With a stylish stand alone summer house you will be able to enjoy your garden all your round in comfort and warmth.
Bespoke Design - As all our conservatories are made to measure, we have the know-how to create designs that can be tailor-made to suit your pocket and make your dream of the perfect conservatory a reality. Or we can even create a conservatory from a combination of two or three of the styles above. Whichever conservatory style you choose, we'll make sure it has all those unique touches that only you can add and we can build.

The unique properties of uPVC make it an obvious choice for thousands of homeowners across the UK who are looking to extend and enhance their properties.
Because uPVC is a remarkably low maintenance material, there will be no flaking, no fading, no rusting and no rotting. All that’s needed is an occasional wipe with a damp cloth. And you might want to put some oil on the hinges and hardware now and then, of course. It's that easy.
White uPVC has been the more common choice of colour, although woodgrain is also available if you want a more traditional look.”
